On September 1, Bro. Joey, CP, along with five other companions from different congregations, graduated from their 10-week Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program at the Lung Center of the Philippines, where Bro. Joey shared his CPE journey in a heartfelt poem (see below). Meanwhile, Bros. Renhard, CP, John Dave, CP, and Arche, CP, along with seven other companions, completed their CPE Program at the Heart Center of the Philippines on September 12, 2023.

In the heart’s embrace, a journey unfolds,
Through valleys of introspection, our stories are told.
CPE’s gentle touch, a catalyst for change,
In the tapestry of growth, our lives rearrange.
A tapestry woven with threads of the soul,
Guided by a mentor who help make us whole.
In the sacred space of vulnerability’s glow,
We uncover our truths, let our vulnerabilities show.

Reflecting our essence, our fears, and tales.
Through tears and laughter, we learn to heal,
To listen, to share, to truly feel.
